A graduate of Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Ilorin, Telema has been involved in market research, data collection, mining, and analysis. He is co-founder of TWOREPORT LIMITED, a market research and data advisory company, and served as the Head of Product Innovation, where his main goal was to deliver products to influence innovation and market-specific solutions for commercial growth and development.
Telema is regularly engaged in consultations and research projects with industry impact on the sports sector including reports on Women and Sports in Nigeria (2016), How Nigerians will Consume the World Cup Report (2018), CampsBay Media Sports Business Series, Esports in Nigeria: The Fans, 2020 Filmmakers' Boot Camp (Re-Think) and Temple Management Company Masterclass Series: The Role of Data in Sports.
Telema has certified leadership qualifications from several prestigious institutions and is a volunteer member of the Sports Industry Thematic Group, NESG where he has provided research services together with the core working team at the Secretariat since 2017. As a member of the SITG, Telema was involved in the Stakeholder engagements, Inter-Ministerial Technical Sessions, data collection and research that provided the basis for the draft National Sports Industry Policy (NSIP), research member of the Technical Working Group on Creative, Culture, Hospitality and Tourism Industry (CCHTI) for the 2021-2025 and 2026-2030 Medium- and Long-Term National Development Plan and the Nigeria 2050 Agenda.
He has served as facilitator and resource provider at several national and international events including the National Youth Conference 2021, Road to GamrX – Esports Business Summit, Getting into the Esports Business in Nigeria Webinar, among others.
