Leveraging on the opportunities presented for private sector participation in the sports industry would require channeling of available resources and investments into initiatives and projects that can assist government at all levels in the implementation of the goals and objectives of community based, economically viable sports industry, especially at sub-national levels where the impact of the initiatives and investments would be more felt.
SPORT NIGERIA LTD/GTE was created as a private sector led “bridge” to assist in aggregating, facilitating, and enabling that requisite investment into the sports sector and the achievement of the objectives of a vibrant, sustainable sports industry across the entire value chain, according to the targets of the sports reform and repositioning agenda.
